The 18-hole course opened in 2003 and quickly became acknowledged as a quality venue, reaching number 52 in the Golf Digest rankings of the top 100 courses in 2005. In 2006, the course progressed into the ranks of the top 50. In 2007, we reached the top 30 and received GOLD status for our ‘golfing experience’.

In 2008 Goose Valley progressed from 21^st to 18^th best-conditioned course in the country. This was confirmed when Goose Valley hosted the South African Amateur Championships. Subsequently, the SAJGF Southern Cape, the Southern Cape Close, and numerous other prominent events have been held here.

Goose Valley is a venue of excellence, set in beautiful surroundings, in the heart of a golfing mecca, the Garden Route, with the ability to welcome the individual, the small group, or the company golf day.
